The holidays are over! As your stress levels gradually decrease this week be sure to take a moment to reflect, give thanks, and think about the special times you shared with your loved ones. And of course, the food! As we ease into January it’s always a good time to start thinking about starting your year off right, now that you had time to rest, refresh, and can look to begin 2018 with a clean slate.
What better way to start the year clean than by scheduling a Rinse! During the month of January, we will be running various promotions and offers to keep you and your winter items looking clean and bright. Be on the lookout via email to see if you can take advantage of any of our January offers.
We also put together a winter cleaning checklist (spring isn’t the only time to clean!) to help prioritize your new year.
Clean Your Winter Items
It may not feel like it for some of our Rinse customers, but winter is coming. Trust us. It’s important to stay warm and to keep your winter clothes and bedding clean. We suggest you let us care for your comforters, bedding, and linens. If you are unsure how often you should wash these items check out our blog post, here. Hint: it’s probably more often than you think as towels and bedding should be cleaned at least once a week. And it’s always aesthetically pleasing to have your comforters and linens brightening up your home (literally and figuratively) after being cleaned!
In the unfortunate situation you have to leave your bed or couch and endure the cold weather you’ll most likely be wearing a jacket or winter coat. Lucky for you we can make sure your jacket is cared for to keep you looking good despite the miserable weather. If you are curious about the cleaning practices for your coat check out our blog post on coat care, here. In summary, you should always consider the fabric type, especially if you have a leather jacket as leather cannot be exposed to water. We offer Leather Cleaning and just about every other service type no matter what style of coat you choose to wear. If you are not sure how to properly care for your jacket, just ask us and we’ll gladly advise on what the best option is.
Take Care of Yourself
We’re no fitness experts but it’s safe to say that you owe it to yourself to try and be mindful of your health as much as you can. If you’re like most Americans you will probably start giving the gym or some form of daily exercise a shot during the month of January. And who knows you might like it enough to keep it up through 2018! If you do plan on working out more frequently just remember we can take care of your gym clothes. We previously published a blog post on how to prolong the life of your workout clothes, here. And if you choose to wear spandex or delicate items we offer Hang Dry for those certain items that should avoid the dryer.
Continue the Spirit of Giving
One great thing about the beginning of a new year is we all end the previous year by celebrating the season of giving. One goal we urge you to consider this new year is to continue the spirit of giving as much as you can throughout the entire year. This can be done by volunteering or donating to causes that resonate with you. Or by putting a smile on someone’s face with a small compliment or gift!
An easy way to continue giving into the new year is to share the gift of Rinse! In addition to being clothing care specialists, we also are a lifesaver for many. Whether you’re busy at work, with your family, out traveling, or enjoying time with friends, Rinse is always available to free up your time while at the same time providing excellent clothing care and customer service.
We recently announced the extension of our give $25, get $50 December referral special until January 15th. By sharing your referral link (accessible via www.rinse.com/share) you can give a friend $25 in Rinse credit to start and receive $50 in Rinse credit after they complete their first pickup. Just head over to your link and share it with family and friends!
Happy New Year and Happy Rinsing!
