About the role

As a senior software engineer, you will...

• Design, build, and maintain systems that bring together our customers, cleaning partners, delivery valets, and internal operators, using web and mobile technologies.

• Collaborate with our marketing, product, design, and operations teams to translate real users’ needs into intuitive, performant systems and interfaces.

• Architect and implement scalable APIs, data flows, third-party integrations, and functional components utilizing Django, React, and React Native.

• Engineer solutions that balance quick iteration with long-term system health.

• Share ownership throughout the full life cycle of our systems, from initial concept through implementation, testing, and ongoing iteration.

• Help steer the team’s technical decision-making and coordinate multi-developer projects.

As the ideal candidate, you...

• Have 5+ years experience and bring expertise in at least one core technology or domain (Django, Python, Typescript, React, React Native, PostgreSQL, performance, geospatial, iOS, Android, UI/UX, etc.) to elevate the team’s aggregate skill set.

• Are energized by high-impact work that demands strong analytic thinking and attention to detail.

• Thrive in ambiguity, turning complex problems into clear, elegant solutions.

• Are a team player and care about elevating the team through active participation in code review, recruiting efforts, and team-based communication.
