Rinse Drop

We offer pickup and delivery if you can’t be present between 8pm and 10pm.

Our Valet will pick up or deliver your order to your doorstep or concierge, at which point you’ll receive a text with a photo showing where your items were left.

You can enable Rinse Drop on any (or all) of your orders.

Rush Delivery

We offer Next-Day Rush Delivery for Wash & Fold orders for an additional fee of $9.95.

Wash & Fold process

  • Do you wash my clothes together with other people’s clothes?

    Your clothes get their own machine, are separated by lights and darks, cleaned according to your preferences, and delivered neatly folded to your door – we even pair your socks.

  • Where do you clean my clothes?

    Your clothes are cleaned at one of our vetted cleaning partners. We only work with carefully selected local cleaners who have established a very high level of quality and reliability. For your protection and overall peace of mind, we have also built multiple layers of inspection and control to ensure high-quality.

  • What is the turnaround time?

    The normal turnaround time for delivery is 3-4 days for all our services.

    For Wash & Fold, we also offer Next-Day Rush Service for an additional fee of $9.95. Rinse Repeat plans include free Rush Service on all Wash & Fold orders.

    At this time, Hang Dry and Dry Cleaning cannot be rushed.

  • What if I’m not at home during pickup or delivery?

    If you are not available during our 8pm - 10pm delivery window, you can enable the Rinse Drop settings on your account, which will allow you to designate where you would like your order to be left. Please note that we do require a Release of Liability in order to enable the Rinse Drop settings on your account.

    If you opt to utilize Rinse Drop for pickup or delivery, we ask you to consider that our Valet has access to a safe place to pick up and deliver your clothes. Typically, this means you can buzz us into your apartment building remotely or you can provide a door code, but every situation is different. If you don’t feel comfortable with your items or deliveries being left there, please don’t select it as your Rinse Drop location!

  • Where is Rinse located?

    Headquartered in San Francisco, Rinse operates in many cities in the United States – check out the full list of cities Rinse operates in.

  • Should I separate my laundry?

    We just ask that you separate your Dry Cleaning / Launder & Press from your Wash & Fold clothes prior to your Valet’s arrival. If you are not able to do so, no problem! Our Valet will still provide your Rinse bags and can standby while you sort your items.

    There is an easy rule of thumb for how to best separate your laundry:

    • Anything you would like returned, pressed, and on hangers should be placed in the WHITE (Dry Clean / Launder & Press) bag.
    • Any laundry you want machine washed and returned folded should be placed in the BLACK (Wash & Fold) bag.

    We also offer customers TEAL Hang Dry bags. These bags are for any laundry you want machine washed and hung to dry (a.k.a. “air dry” or “line dry”).

  • Do you have same-day or next-day delivery in Los Angeles?

    Next-day option for Wash & Fold is available!

    We offer Next-Day Rush Service for Wash & Fold for an additional fee of $9.95. You can select this option when placing your order or set a permanent preference for next day Wash & Fold on our customer preferences page.

    In addition, Rinse Repeat plans include free Next-Day Rush Service so you’ll get your laundry back the next-day during our normal service hours (between 8pm and 10pm).

    At this time, Hang Dry and Dry Cleaning cannot be rushed.

Clothing care in Santa Monica

Santa Monica is home to the first solar-powered ferris wheel. It is located directly on the Santa Monica pier along with a few other attractions at Pacific Park. The wheel was first unveiled in 1996 and is entirely eco-friendly.

Rinse is perc-free Dry cleaning is just what it sounds like - a water-free way to clean delicate fabrics. In effect, that means dry cleaners use non-aqueous solvents to remove stains from your clothes. The most widely used cleaning solvent in dry cleaning is perchloroethylene (“perc”), but this known carcinogen can have a hazardous impact on the environment.

While Perc is illegal in some states like California, an estimated 80% of dry cleaners nationwide still use it. Rinse is committed to providing high-quality clothing care while keeping our customers and the environment safe, so we only work with green cleaning partners who never use perc. Rinse accepts clothing donations We'll collect any clothing that you'd like to donate and make sure it is given to a charitable organization in your community, rather than ending up in a landfill.

In Santa Monica, we work with the Salvation Army to make sure the clothes you no longer want go to someone in need. Rinse will pick up clothing donations for free with any Rinse order. Just put them in a separate bag and hand them to you Valet! Rinse uses less water and less energy Our cleaning partners’ use of commercial, high-efficiency washing machines means up to 50% less water is used when compared to traditional, at-home washing machines.

Additionally, cold water washing and high-speed spin cycles significantly reduce energy costs and carbon emissions associated with cleaning. Rinse uses biodegradable poly bags

Traditional Dry Cleaning and Wash & Fold practices use plastic to ensure your clean clothes stay clean when they're delivered to you. Rinse does this, too, however, much of the plastic wrapping that Rinse uses is biodegradable, meaning it will naturally decompose without causing harm. For the portion that isn't, we're happy to collect the plastic and recycle it for you - just give it to your Valet on your next pickup.

Rinse Recycles Hangers

If you've ever dry cleaned something, you know that your clothes are returned crisply pressed and on a wire hanger. While some can be reused later on, be it for dress shirts or marshmallow roasting sticks, eventually, those wire hangers pile up. Rinse gladly pickups up any wire hangers that you no longer need and recycle them for you. Just give them to your Rinse Valet during your next pickup!
