Wash & Fold process

Common Celio stains cleaned by Rinse

Stains from beverages like coffee, juice, wine, milk, or tea may require careful neutralization. Rinse works to clean these stains using specialized dry cleaning solvents. Other foods, like chewing gum, butter, chocolate, egg, spaghetti, or ice cream also leave stains on clothing, and require special spot treatment to resolve. Condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, soy sauce, or salsa can also be difficult to remove. Rinse can clean these kinds of stains from Celio garments utilizing dry cleaning skills honed during decades of work.

Cosmetic stains are also common. Eye liner, mascara, foundation, blush, eye shadow, lip balm, and nail polish are all pigmented, and so can leave stains on garments easily. Rinse utilizes dry cleaning best practices to remove these sometimes-difficult stains from your favorite Celio garments.

Candle wax, crayons, or glue can also damage Celio clothing, requiring special attention during the beginning of the dry cleaning process. On the other hand, common odors from perfume or perspiration can more-easily be removed from Celio garments during dry cleaning. Another common type of stain is from oil, either from cooking oils like butter or lard, or lubricating oils like motor oil or grease. Whether the stain is particularly tricky to resolve, or more straightforward, Rinse would be happy to pick up your Celio garment for dry cleaning.

  • Do you wash my clothes together with other people’s clothes?

    Your clothes get their own machine, are separated by lights and darks, cleaned according to your preferences, and delivered neatly folded to your door – we even pair your socks.

  • Where do you clean my clothes?

    Your clothes are cleaned at one of our vetted cleaning partners. We only work with carefully selected local cleaners who have established a very high level of quality and reliability. For your protection and overall peace of mind, we have also built multiple layers of inspection and control to ensure high-quality.

  • What is the turnaround time?

    The normal turnaround time for delivery is 3-4 days for all our services.

    For Wash & Fold, we also offer next-day Rush Service for an additional fee of $9.95. Note all Rinse Repeat Plus plans include free Rush Service on all Wash & Fold orders.

    At this time, Hang Dry and Dry Cleaning cannot be rushed.

  • What if I’m not at home during pickup or delivery?

    If you are not available during our 8pm - 10pm delivery window, you can enable the Rinse Drop settings on your account, which will allow you to designate where you would like your order to be left. Please note that we do require a Release of Liability in order to enable the Rinse Drop settings on your account.

    If you opt to utilize Rinse Drop for pickup or delivery, we ask you to consider that our Valet has access to a safe place to pick up and deliver your clothes. Typically, this means you can buzz us into your apartment building remotely or you can provide a door code, but every situation is different. If you don’t feel comfortable with your items or deliveries being left there, please don’t select it as your Rinse Drop location!

  • Where is Rinse located?

  • Should I separate my laundry?

    We just ask that you separate your Dry Cleaning / Launder & Press from your Wash & Fold clothes prior to your Valet’s arrival. If you are not able to do so, no problem! Our Valet will still provide your Rinse bags and can standby while you sort your items.

    There is an easy rule of thumb for how to best separate your laundry:

    • Anything you would like returned, pressed, and on hangers should be placed in the WHITE (Dry Clean / Launder & Press) bag.
    • Any laundry you want machine washed and returned folded should be placed in the BLACK (Wash & Fold) bag.

    We also offer customers TEAL Hang Dry bags. These bags are for any laundry you want machine washed and hung to dry (a.k.a. “air dry” or “line dry”).

  • Do you have same-day or next-day delivery in Chicago?

    Next-day option for Wash & Fold is available!

    We offer next-day Wash & Fold for an additional Rush Service fee of $9.95. You can select this option when placing your order or set a permanent preference for next day Wash & Fold on our customer preferences page.

    In addition, all Rinse Repeat Plus plans include free Rush Service so you’ll get your laundry back the next-day during our normal service hours (between 8pm and 10pm).

    At this time, Hang Dry and Dry Cleaning cannot be rushed.
